:icontaleasenaid:
Name:
 Arianda
Age: 27 (At time of death)
Gender: Female
Height: 5'11'' or 180cm
Weight: 140lbs or 63kg
Race: +Reaper (Formerly Hareya)

+Reapers are not built for direct conflict. Sporting tall and thin frames, it is very easy for them to look like skeletons if they do not take proper care of themselves. They are mostly humanoid in structure, other than digitigrade feet, clawed fingers, and articulated ears.

Their features can vary slightly depending on the +Reaper's original race before death. Physical appearances can appear more feline, or bulkier, or various other mild differences, but they usually will not adopt any major features or abilities from their previous race. A +Reaper will never be quadrupedal, nor will they have features that are more than 2/3 animalistic, other than their digitigrade legs.

The colouration ranges from pure white to pure black depending on a combination of external stimuli and emotional state. The specifics vary depending on the +Reaper, but in general more white means they are in a calm environment and are content, while black means they are either in an unstable or hostile environment and/or extreme emotional distress. Therefore, a white +Reaper is seen as a good omen, while a black +Reaper signifies the opposite.

---------

Hareya are the dominant species in Delhara. A Wide variety of skin tones, though only the ones found on humans. They have small pointed ears and large wings on their backs. Most wings are shades of light browns, but there's a smaller subspecies that has white wings, but they're incredibly rare. The white winged people are considered to be holy by the church, and as such most of them can be found within church walls.
They're a very proud race, believing themselves to be the most superior of all species in the world.

World: Delhara
A very high fantasy world. The main source of power in this world is the church, which believes in one god who controls all. There are a few other religions, but following them is considered blasphemy and shunned by the main church. Forsaken are alarmingly common within this world, and the church has been spreading false information about them to keep the people at ease. The church dictates that one does not turn into a Forsaken later in life, but is born as one and is a separate species pretending to be Hareya in disguise.
There are two species primarily found in this world; The Hareya and Mareilsian people. Hareya are the ruling species, and control almost every main church. They've largely disconnected themselves from the Mareilsians, believing them to be inferior. The Hareya built their homes on massive floating cities, similar to Devanei. Unlike Devanei, the land masses are kept afloat by the world's magic, and numerous crystals embedded in the floating earth itself.
The Mareilsians, being wingless beings are not able to visit the floating cities of the Hareya, and live on the ground.

History:
Arianda and her brother, Fiera, were born under the roof of the church. With the both of them being white winged Hareya, they had a fairly cushioned childhood within the church walls. This also meant that the fact they'd be working for the church for their entire lives was decided for them. From a young age Arianda and Fiera did their best to help with church duties whenever possible, primarily with assistance to the locals. As the time passed, Arianda and Fiera were given the task of hunting forsaken, much like their parents. To keep them content, the church hid the fact from them that after someone turns into a forsaken, the entire family is killed for protective measure. Instead they were told that the families were relocated for safety reasons.

As time continued to go on Arianda found a best friend in a girl her age named Milian, who was the daughter of one of the more important faces of the church. She got along well with Fiera too, which made her good company for the both of them. As Arianda grew closer to Milian, she started drifting away from Fiera. While the two were still pretty close, there was a definite notable difference. As the years drew on the two continued to fight side by side, and Fiera had his eyes set on one of the maidens in the town. The girl was a good friend of Millian's and so both she and Arianda helped to steer her in Fiera's direction. As things got better for all of them, things on the outside were only getting worse. Forsaken were multiplying rapidly in numbers, and it became hard for the church to keep up. Those who worked to hunt Forsaken like Arianda and Fiera were dying off much more rapidly than before, and eventually the two began to worry.

Eventually Fiera proposed to his girlfriend, despite all the chaos. For awhile more everything seemed peaceful for the happy couple, and for Arianda and Millian. However it was not to be, and an illness swept through Delhara, taking Fiera's wife with it. After that he grew cold and distant, and started avoiding Arianda. She tried to get through to him, but the more she tried the more distant he became. Millian tried to offer suggestions to make him feel better, but again, nothing worked.
A year after his wife's passing, he'd finally seemed to open back up a little. Still, Arianda couldn't help but notice how he was still much more quiet than before and still spent majority of his time alone. Rather than keep trying to drag him out of the shell he'd created, she decided to give him some space. Unfortunately this turned out to be a mistake.

Soon, Fiera dissipated entirely. They didn't have to look far to find him, though, as word of a Forsaken with a familiar face reached the church doors. While Millian was sure it couldn't be Fiera, Arianda had some doubts. She knew her brother wasn't born a Forsaken, in fact he hunted them. She set off to confront the Forsaken before it could reach the next town, and to confirm what she hoped wasn't true. Once she saw the Forsaken face to face her worst fears were confirmed. There was nobody else it could be, but that meant that people turned into Forsaken, rather than being born.
Before she could turn to flee, the Forsaken that used to be Fiera attacked her. After a full hour of going back and forward, Arianda managed to kill Fiera and get away, if only just.

Returning home she told Millian what she'd found out, and what happened. She then spent the next week trying to recover from the mental and physical damage from what happened. The church neglected to contact Arianda through this time, and only Millian stayed by her side, though hesitantly. After a week passed and she was still ignored by the church, a few younger church members who used to look up to Fiera asked if they could talk to her. She agreed, and after saying goodbye to Millian followed them down into the forest below the city. There the conversation started out normal, but as they crossed the bridge across a lake, one of them grabbed her and the other pulled a knife. Before she had time to properly react the one man stabbed her in the chest, by the church's orders. Afterwards they threw her body into the lake below, and fled.

That was when Arianda was reborn as a +Reaper, and pulled herself out of the lake. Confused and now wingless, she wandered the surrounding area for a couple days before a familiar face showed up, bearing flowers. From afar she saw Millian standing by the lakeside with a bouquet of flowers in hand, and was overjoyed. She rushed over but was met only with a scream and a knife to the face. It didn't take long for Arianda to realize that Millian was well aware of what had happened, and had known since before she was killed. Distraught she begged Millian for an answer as to why she'd done it, but could get no answer. Millian fled as soon as the chance arose, leaving Arianda alone once more. Rather than stay and wait for Millian to tell where she was and for more people to come kill her- again- she fled.

After a few days through the forest she stumbled across a Mareilsian town who offered her their help. She spent the next 2 years living there, getting to know the locals better and properly learning their culture. She continued this way until one day when helping in the fields she was hit by a horrible dizzy spell, and blacked out. When she awoke she was somewhere completely different, with no knowledge of what happened. She later learned that she was in an entirely different world called Seledris, and has been living there since 6 months or so ago.

Personality:
Arianda has a very warm and welcoming personality. She gives people respect unless given explicit reason not to, and does her best to help others. She rarely shows when she's angry or upset, the only indication being her ears twitching. She no longer follows incredibly closely by the Church in her home world's ideals, but still puts others before herself in most cases, and spends majority of her time trying to help out where needed.

Abilities/weapons:

Eyes of Fate: (Passive Skill)

The ability to see a visual representation of the ties people have with each other and their surroundings. They often appear as coloured threads, chains, or ribbons, depending on the person, and can also show one’s will to live by how thick their core thread is.

Glimpse: (Active Skill)

Being able to show others the same threads of fate +Reapers always see. The skill works like looking through a mirror that spreads out from the +Reaper’s hand; however, the ‘mirror’ only shows the threads and vague figures of who they belong to.

Guidance: (Active Skill)

This is the only skill in which a +Reaper can interact with the Fate threads, and allows them to tug on a thread, causing slight vibrations. This in turn provides the person it belongs to with a small hint according to what that thread relates to. It could be a vague feeling that they need to go somewhere so that they’ll run into the person they need, or that they’ll feel nervous enough to stay home and avoid a train wreck, or other vague feelings. The +Reaper usually doesn't know what will happen, and most of the time they only have a vague idea of what the vibrations cause.

Repair/Second Chance: (Active Skill)

Sometimes, the binds that hold people together, with themselves or with other people, are damaged or incomplete. Depending on the severity of the damage, a +Reaper may be able to repair it, allowing for a second chance. This skill’s most common use is on newborn infants whose new life isn't as secure as it should be.

Reading: (Active Skill)

As they are able to see the ties that bind people, +Reapers can also gather vague readings on what those threads entail. Destined lovers, a happy future, disaster if they go somewhere, etc. These readings are only information and won't affect possible outcomes if the owner is informed, so the +Reaper does not have to worry about altering fate by revealing this information. This doesn’t guarantee that the +Reaper will always tell the truth though.

One Last Breath: (Active Skill)

This skill only works on those who are about to die and simply pauses or extends the amount of time that person has left just long enough for the dying to be able to get any last words in before passing on. The catch is that only the +Reaper and the one dying are aware of the pause, so the individual is unable to speak to anyone but the +Reaper using the skill. The +Reaper can then pass on what was said to whoever needs to hear it after wishing the soul farewell.

Additional Info:
-The black markings spread all across her body
-She's of a more delicate frame
-She avoids Devanei since it reminds her too much of home
-She now speaks like the Mareilsian people
-If she drops that speech pattern you're prob in deep shit
-Her markings look like this:

RP Prompt: You must respond to one of these prompts depending on your character’s origin. (half assing this part almost 4am sorry)
(More like awk limbo chara lol oops)
Bullet; WhiteNatives: "You've just found someone who was left in one of the 3 starting worlds. The person is still unconscious and has no luggage besides the clothes they currently wear and anything they had been holding. What do you do?"

Despite her usual reservations about working too closely with Churches, Arianda was helping take care of the people who'd taken shelter inside from the weather. She looked outside and couldn't help but sigh. What a miserable day. She looked away from the window, but something was caught in the side of her vision dropping past the window. What in God's name-? Without a word to those inside she threw her hood up and made her way outside to see what it was. At first she thought someone had dropped a corpse from the roof when she saw someone laying there unconscious, until she noted the soft rise and fall of said person's chest. She looked up at the roof and decided the person probably would have died had they been thrown from there. That left the probability it was an off-worlder who'd been literally dropped outside the church. She made her way over to make sure the person was uninjured, before going back inside to ask someone to help bring the person inside. She would gladly have done it herself, but alas, reapers weren't the strongest of people, now were they?
